What I Use

Providing a brief look into the tools that I use on a day-to-day basis. ๐Ÿ›

Hardware

Pixel 7

Phone

I decided to switch from an iPhone 6 to a Google Pixel 2 back in April 2014.

So far, Iโ€™m extremely satisfied with the transition and have been on #teampixel ever since.

If you buy a Pixel at the Google Store, you can enter code QCXT1P6N8W2S8AZ7XY7TL1N at checkout to get $100 in store credit.

MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2021)

Laptop

This is the laptop I was provided by work. I’ve been using a MacBook Pro as my primary laptop since 2013.

But tbh, once Google comes out with a laptop that has an on-par user experience with macOS, Iโ€™d be willing to make that switch…

Bose QuietComfortยฎ 45

Headphones

I won a pair of Bose headphones at the TAPIA conference in 2016 from a Dropbox raffle and I’ve been hooked on them ever since.

iPhone 11 Pro

Webcam

I use this old phone as my webcam with Camo.

Apple Mac Studio 2022

Primary Computer

32GB with Apple M1 Max

Blue Snowball

Mic

This is what I use as my default mic but it’s especially useful for podcasting and such.

Personal Website

I find new reasons to love and hate WordPress all the time. I have gone back and forth between a static site and WordPress, and for better or worse, I keep returning to WordPress.

Dotfiles

I’ve created my own custom dotfiles that I update once in a blue moon (pretty much anytime I need a fresh laptop install).

Dotfiles are text-based configuration files that store the settings of almost every application, service, and the tool running on your system.
