If I were to choose a few areas in which Frances excels, they would be:
Frances has become our resident forms expert and the work she has done to consolidate and simplify the development process has enabled other engineers to create robust forms quickly and efficiently. It's not always easy to directly measure success with CA projects but with forms, Frances was able to attribute tangible gains in ARR pipeline directly to the work done.
Frances single-handedly created the roadmap for, organized, and broadly facilitated our team offsite this year in spectacular fashion. Getting folks together in one place for meaningful discussions can be tricky during the best of times let alone while there's still a global pandemic going on. Frances' genuine interest in learning, sharing, and collaborating is infectious and makes others want to contribute and participate.
Frances has always been a champion of documentation; she both creates quality docs and encourages others on the team to do so and leads by example. While Slack documentation tends to live in many places, she has spearheaded the campaign to move all CA docs into Quip making it easier to find the info we need at any given time.
While Frances deftly executes projects she is assigned, an area of opportunity would be to identify and champion difficult and cross-functional projects. This is a tricky task for any engineer so this could be a good opportunity to partner with a mentor to help along the journey.
