Sep.15th to Oct. 15th is Latinx & Hispanic Heritage Month, a period that recognizes the contributions and influence of Latinx & Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States. 
At 60 million in the US, Hispanics & Latinx are the largest non-white voting group this year and have been the largest ethnic minority group for the last 20 years. 
To celebrate, the Fuego employee resource group at Slack will be hosting a series of fun virtual events throughout the month for employees to participate in and enjoy. 
We’ll kick things off on September 15th with an Opening Ceremony joined by Slack’s CEO Stewart who will say a few words. Activities throughout the month will range from intimate cooking experiences to “fuegoside” chats, self-defense classes, dance lessons, and more.
