Volunteered at the urban Assembly Academy for Future Leaders in Harlem, NY through the Hour of Code program and ELiTE Education’s CS Week of 2016. Helped out middle school students in their CodeCombat lessons and gave a presentation to middle school girls on why they should learn to code. I even received some swag from ELiTE Education in exchange! 😊

Middle School

  • Mentored students at the Urban Assembly Academy for Future Leaders in NYC for the Hour of Code computer science education week in December of 2015 in cooperation with the organization Emerging Leaders in Technology and Engineering Inc (ELiTE)
  • Presented a Keynote on the importance of learning to code to selected female students interested in STEM fields
