Bringing Builders Together: AI Dev Tools Night at Salesforce Tower

We brought the dev community together for an epic night of AI agents, dev tools, and pizza at Salesforce Tower. Here’s how it all went down. 🍕🤖

On April 2nd, I had the absolute joy of co-hosting AI Dev Tools Night at Salesforce Tower in San Francisco with the amazing folks at Sourcegraph. 🤝

This wasn’t just your average tech meetup—we packed the space with over 100 engineers, founders, and curious minds who came together to talk about AI agents, dev tools, and the future of developer productivity. And yes, we had pizza. 🍕

🎤 The Speaker Lineup Was Fire

We brought together some heavy hitters in the AI dev tools space:

  • Beyang Liu – CTO & Cofounder @ Sourcegraph
  • Lindsay Rawitscher – Senior AI Engineer, Agentforce @ Salesforce
  • Sam Bhagwat – Cofounder of Gatsby (now at Mastra – YC W25)
  • Jan Čurn – Founder @ Apify

They each shared insights on how AI agents are transforming everything from search to automation to how we build software from scratch.

🤝 A Community-First Vibe

None of this would’ve been possible without my co-organizers YK Sugi and Justin Dorfman, who continue to champion open, inclusive, and developer-forward events. This night was all about creating space for devs to ask questions, share learnings, and connect with others excited about the AI-powered future of engineering.

🔒 Exclusive, Intimate, Impactful

Because of space limitations and security protocols at Salesforce Tower, we had to cap attendance and close the doors after a certain point. It actually made for a more intimate, highly engaged environment—and folks showed up early to grab a good seat.

From thoughtful audience questions to deep post-talk conversations, it was clear that the dev community is hungry for more spaces like this.

💫 Final Thoughts

Bringing people together around shared curiosity is one of my favorite things—and this event reminded me just how powerful that can be.
