I got to know Frances through Techqueria, when I was a lead for Lyft’s Latinx ERG. Frances’ energy during our interactions was inspiring; she always struck me as an individual with a passion to help others. Thanks to Frances’ efforts in Techqueria and elsewhere, many people from underrepresented communities in tech have been able to find better opportunities for their own growth.

While I have not been able to work with Frances on technical projects just yet, I would be excited to do so. I truly believe that one of the most important factors to build a good team in tech is that drive for growth, paired with the humility to learn from others - attributes that have characterized my interactions with Frances.
