At JupiterOne, I developed compliance features, fixed critical bugs, enhanced our design system, and proposed new standards, driving quality and innovation.

JupiterOne is building a cloud-native software platform to deliver knowledge, transparency, and confidence to every digital operation in every organization, large or small.

I was offered a design system engineering role but due to business needs, I ended up working on the compliance team, which manages a customer's ability to import and manage any compliance standard or framework as a set of controls or requirements.

Responsibilities

• Developed and implemented net new features for the Compliance Platform, such as updating the evidence view to make it easier for users to interact with

• Fixed a bug where dropdown values weren't loading due to an Apollo query issue

• Conducted comprehensive documentation and testing of new components, ensuring high-quality standards were met in all aspects of software development

• Contributed to the ongoing evolution of Juno, the company's in-house design system, by adding new status options for the data table built on top of MUI

• Proposed a new standard for automatic React importing to the frontend forum, demonstrating thought leadership and innovative thinking in software engineering practices

Qualifications

• Experience with Material UI and JSS

• Familiar with GraphQL and Apollo GraphQL library

• Experience with full-stack development

• Exposure to Typescript

• Familiarity with Storybook

• Exposure to MicroFrontend Architecture
