Coro Fellows Mock Interviews
Volunteered as a mock interviewer and provided Coro Fellows with practice interviewing for a position virtually.
I interviewed three fellows — an aspiring data scientist, a policy analyst, and a community associate.

6:00 - 6:30 p.m. Fellows check-in & break
6:30 - 6:45 p.m. Intro and Welcome to Guest Interviewers
6:45 - 7:45 p.m. Mock Interviews via Zoom Breakout Rooms
7:45 - 7:50 p.m. Transition back to Large Group & quick break
7:50 - 8:15 p.m. Interviewers share themes they saw surface across interviews and provide general tips for Fellows to keep in mind and answer any questions from Fellows
8:15 - 8:30 p.m. Check-out from Interviewers & Fellows
8:30 - 8:40 p.m. Break
8:40 p.m. - end Closing Reflections & Announcements
Outcome
- Fellows will expand their understanding of post-Coro opportunities
- Fellows will feel more comfortable answering basic job interview questions that incorporate the following:
- Their professional narrative (a short “why me for this job” statement)
- Their Coro (and other) experience relative to skills, knowledge, and networks
- Their interest in a position/organization
