Slack hosted Techqueria at Salesforce Tower in San Francisco and it was a night worth celebrating — five years in total at Slack, and this kind of event is exactly why I stay.
The fireside chat was moderated by M. Cristina Pullen (Senior Technical Writer, Salesforce) with panelists Monica Scott (Salesforce Talent Advisor) and Raquel Vélez (Senior Engineering Manager, Slack). The conversation centered on job-seeking strategies and career transitions, but the through-line was something bigger: future-proofing your career given that every single role is being rapidly transformed and reshaped by AI.
